Job summary

Jacobs seeks an Electrical Construction Technical Services Lead for world-class data center projects in Corpus Christi, TX. You will liaise with home office engineering, support on-site technical interpretation of documents, and manage construction drawings with revision control.

Based at our Corpus Christi project, you will guide contractors, mentor teams, and drive quality and compliance in a fast-evolving field of data center construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years in electrical engineering or 15–20 years in construction management for heavy-industrial facilities including datacenters.
• Ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings.
• Effective oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with home office engineering, outside engineering firms, and client representatives.
• Provide on-site technical support interpreting engineering documents, specs, and drawings.
• Engage in permitting with authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs).
• Coordinate with design-build contractors as work moves to the field.
• Lead document management, ensuring revision-controlled drawings and key documents are maintained.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the team to meet objectives.
