Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Development Program Manager (Data Center Construction MEPR) to lead design, pre-construction and construction activities across campuses. You will work daily with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, Commissioning Agents, Vendors, and Data Center Operations staff to ensure timely, on-budget delivery.

Based in Colorado, this role requires strong communication skills and a background in commercial construction methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Eight or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures, including Lump Sum, CM at Risk, and Design Build.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint for executive updates, and Excel for budgets.
• Travel as needed for the business.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects on campuses, maintaining budgets, schedules, and status reports.
• Create and communicate monthly development program and project status updates for executive reviews.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create a master development program and capital budget.
• Write scopes of work for design, construction, and commissioning services; participate in procurement and cost estimates.
• Review and negotiate pricing, and manage procurement processes for project deliveries.
