Job summary

CoreSite in the United States is seeking a Data Center Design & Performance Engineer to design and review electrical, mechanical, and site plans for data centers, ensuring adherence to CoreSite’s build standards and reliability goals. You will collaborate with facility and operations teams, define testing scopes, and provide QA sign-off on engineered systems.

The role includes on-site and remote work with travel up to 40%, and requires a bachelor’s in engineering and 3+ years of data center

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered in lieu of educational qualifications.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in data center operations and design.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire and life-safety, and building management systems for expansion and upgrade projects.
• Define the scope for testing and commissioning to ensure design intent and operability of systems.
