Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Data Center Interconnection Specialist to design, engineer, and implement interconnection solutions across multi-site data centers. You will lead DCIM integration, manage complex projects, and coordinate with field operations to ensure data integrity and scalable architectures.

The role requires 5+ years in data center interconnection design, strong leadership, and the ability to travel for site planning and deployment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data center interconnection design and operations.
• 2+ years managing physical cable plants.
• 2+ years with DCIM tools.
• Experience running MDF/IDF architecture.
• Experience in multi-tenant data center environments.
• Preferred data center or telecommunications industry background.
• Preferred TIA/EIA environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and architecture of interconnection technology with emphasis on optimization and high availability.
• Implement DCIM platform into production workflow.
• Occasional travel to data center sites for planning and support.
• Attend industry trade shows as needed.
• Establish testing standards for interconnection products.
• Improve processes around interconnection product delivery.
• Set engineering standards for MDF/IDF and outside plant connectivity.
• Provide training to new hires and SMEs.
• Produce network topology diagrams for internal needs.
