Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a Critical Facilities Technician in Phoenix to support 24x7 data center operations, maintaining electrical, HVAC, and building management systems. The role requires reliability, safety focus, and readiness for after-hours work.

You will monitor power and cooling, troubleshoot basic issues, and document actions in the ticketing system, while supporting uptime goals. We offer day-one benefits and opportunities for growth within Iron Mountain.

Qualifications

0-2 years experience in a critical operations environment and/or data center preferred.
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance may be required.
Proactive, safety‑oriented with strong process discipline.
Comfort with ticketing systems and multi‑system environments.

Responsibilities

Proactively support safety of the environment and occupants and ensure safety procedures are followed.
Monitor critical power, cooling/environmental, security and support systems to meet uptime targets.
Perform basic maintenance to ensure smooth operation of HVAC and electrical systems.
Monitor and update all assigned service tickets in the ticketing system.
Take daily readings of mechanical and electrical equipment and inspect facilities for issues.
Identify issues early and assist with service delivery tasks when needed.
