Job summary

T5 Data Centers is seeking a Senior Critical Facilities Technician to oversee critical and non-critical data center infrastructure, driving uptime and reliability. You will train junior technicians, manage CMMS, and collaborate with facility leadership to uphold safety and industry best practices.

The role requires hands-on operation, preventive maintenance, and effective issue resolution within a 24x7 environment at our facilities.

Qualifications

High school degree required.
Prior military or technical school training preferred.
3+ years experience in Mission Critical Environments preferred.
Electrical or mechanical licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain critical and non-critical data center infrastructure equipment and systems.
Lead the CFM/ACFM to deliver total availability (100% uptime) while minimizing risks.
Monitor power, cooling capacity, and environmental conditions inside data halls.
Provide training and CMMS usage to manage data center work.
Assist with preventive maintenance inspections on electrical and mechanical equipment.
Plan, schedule, and execute electrical and mechanical corrective issues.
Troubleshoot issues, escalate appropriately, ensure resolution.
Respond to emergencies and support a team approach.
Develop, review, and execute operating procedures.
Perform quality control reviews of processes and projects.
