Job summary

T5 Data Centers in the United States is seeking a Critical Facilities Technician (CFT) to maintain and operate critical and non-critical data center infrastructure, ensuring safety and reliability in line with company standards.

You will work with a team to achieve 100% uptime, monitor power and cooling, perform preventive maintenance, and manage tasks using a CMMS. Flexibility for shift work and on-call duties is required.

Qualifications

• High school degree is required.
• 5+ years experience in Mission Critical Environments.
• Electrical or mechanical license is preferred.
• Prior military or technical school training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain critical and non-critical data center infrastructure, equipment, and systems.
• Work with a team of CFTs to deliver total availability (100% uptime) while minimizing risks.
• Monitor power, cooling capacity, and environmental conditions within the data halls.
• Utilize a CMMS as a tool to manage all planned and unplanned data center work.
• Perform preventive maintenance on data center electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Assist with development, revision, and execution of operating procedures and inspections; perform quality control reviews.
