Job summary

IES Communications is seeking a Crew Lead - Data Center Services to oversee on-site data center operations, ensure alignment with industry best practices, and supervise a field crew. This role focuses on coordinating MACs, equipment installation, and documentation while maintaining safe, compliant data center environments.

The candidate should have 3+ years in data center or telecom settings, a High School diploma or GED, and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in telecommunications or related technical field.
• Must be able to terminate fiber.
• Six months or more supervisory/managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Directly support and coordinate all scheduled data center MACs based on the DCIT calendar.
• Provide equipment installation MACs, labeling, power and LV cable connectivity.
• Maintain documentation and records for asset installation layouts and cable patch matrix.
• Coordinate equipment/material receiving, shipping and RMA processing.
• Provide on-site coordination and crew supervision for data center activities.
