Job summary

IES Communications is seeking a Project Lead for Data Center Services to oversee both physical and virtual infrastructure. You will coordinate MACs, supervise crew leads, document processes and ensure safety and audit readiness at client data centers.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in data centers or telecom, strong problem solving, and proficiency with DCIM tools and MS Office. The role requires 100% travel and onsite work in client facilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Three years of data center or telecom experience.
• Basic knowledge of telecom/IP equipment and power principles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data-center tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate data center MACs and prepare related documentation.
• Supervise crew leads and act as on-site liaison with customers.
• Maintain asset records, cable plant data and site safety.
• Perform troubleshooting of basic DC cable and connectivity issues.
• Support installation, testing and certification activities.
• Generate status reports on service availability and performance.
• Coordinate equipment receiving, shipping and RMA processing.
