Job summary

IES is seeking a Crew Lead - Data Center Services to manage on-site data center operations, coordinate MACs, and supervise field staff. The role emphasizes adherence to industry standards and safe, documented processes within the data center environment.

You will drive best practices and help ensure ISO 27001/9001 and TIA/EIA-942 compliance while coordinating with DCIT and project teams on schedules, audits, and operational performance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalency.
• Minimum of three years of experience in telecommunications or related technical field.
• Any network, storage or server certifications are a plus.
• Able to terminate fiber.
• Minimum six months of supervisory and/or managerial experience.
• Proficient in use of the tools listed above.

Responsibilities

• Directly support and coordinate all scheduled data center MACs based on set DCIT calendar event scheduling.
• Implement cable work order MACs, testing and certification, and assist with crafting LV project BOM and scope documents.
• Perform asset auditing and daily error logs.
• Provide equipment installation MACs, including device labeling, power connectivity, LV cable connectivity and proper cable dressing.
• Provide smart‑hands assistance as required.
• Maintain a safe and secure operating environment within the GPN data center and report any violations to DCIT immediately as necessary.
• Ticketing and service calls.
• Coordinate equipment/material receiving, shipping and RMA processing support.
