Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Mechanical Cooling Engineer in the United States to lead design and documentation of modular data center cooling systems, including DX refrigerant and chilled water solutions. You will collaborate with project managers, SME designers, and field teams to ensure compliant, on-time delivery.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in cooling system design, strong familiarity with industry standards, and proficiency with REVIT and related tools.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC or Thermal Dynamics preferred.
• 2+ years in cooling system design and implementation, data center focus.
• Proficiency with REVIT, Construction Cloud and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Design and Review mechanical cooling systems to meet customer requirements, focusing on calculations and equipment selection.
• Prepare and maintain mechanical schedules, piping one-lines and sequences of operations; ensure revision control.
• Provide technical support to factory production and site integration teams and attend customer meetings.
