Job summary

Schneider Electric in Dallas is seeking a Cooling Systems Engineer to design mechanical cooling, humidity control, and air renovation systems for modular data centers. You will prepare technical documentation, perform heat load and cooling calculations, select equipment, and ensure schedules and quality.

You’ll collaborate with PMs, SMEs, and designers, support factory and site teams, and travel up to 15%. A BS in Mechanical Engineering and 2+ years of cooling design experience are preferred;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of cooling system design experience, preferably in data centers.
• Familiarity with industry standards (ASHRAE, IBC, IECC) and refrigerant safety.
• Proficiency with REVIT, Autodesk Construction Cloud and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Design and review mechanical cooling systems to meet customer requirements.
• Perform heat load, cooling capacity, airflow, humidity control, and pPUE calculations.
• Develop mechanical schedules, piping one-lines, and system sequences of operations.
• Provide technical support to factory production and site integration teams; participate in project lessons learned.
