Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a Controls Technician for the Data Center Global Controls team. You will participate in the installation, testing, startup, and ongoing maintenance of BMS and EPMS systems in AWS data centers, ensuring reliable building automation.

The role requires knowledge of field sensors, controllers, wiring, networking, and control programming, with a focus on safety and operational excellence. On-call and after-hours support may be required.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma required.
• Associate degree or certified training in a related technical field preferred.
• Experience with industrial controls or HVAC controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, service, and upgrade BMS and EPMS systems in Data Centers.
• Mentor Facilities team on operation and control of BMS/EPMS.
• Audit and manage enterprise asset management systems for BMS/EPMS.
• Perform point-to-point checkouts between field devices and controllers.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain BMS/EPMS programming and hardware.
• Configure servers, controllers, and network setups for control systems.
• Read electrical schematics and control drawings; understand loop controls.
