Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Controls Technician to support Service & Construction of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) within data centers. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain field sensors, controllers, wiring, and networking equipment to ensure reliable building performance.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with low-voltage controls, can read electrical schematics, and follow safety practices while working in rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or certified training in a related technical field preferred.
• 1+ years of industrial controls/HVAC controls experience or 3+ years without a degree.

Responsibilities

• Work primarily on Data Center sites, supporting deployment and service.
• Perform point-to-point checkouts and initial diagnostics of field devices.
• Configure and calibrate sensors, read electrical schematics, and verify BAS/EPMS interfaces.
• Ensure safety procedures on site and coordinate with contractors during wiring and installation.
