Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Controls Technician to join the Global Controls Team. You will deploy, service, and upgrade BMS and EPMS systems across multiple data centers, ensuring reliable operation of critical infrastructure.

You will mentor Facilities team members, perform diagnostics, and support commissioning and testing, with growth opportunities in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment that values innovation in controls technology.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma is required.
• Associate degree, trade certification, or related training preferred.
• Experience with industrial controls, HVAC controls, meters, sensors and troubleshooting in data centers is expected.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, service, and upgrade BMS and EPMS systems across data centers.
• Mentor and train Facilities team members on BMS/EPMS operations.
• Manage small to medium-sized projects and programs.
• Perform point-to-point checkouts between field devices and controllers.
• Troubleshoot programming code and hardware related to BMS/EPMS in data centers.
• Coordinate provisioning for servers, controllers, and network configurations; test communications between devices.
