Job summary

Amazon AWS Data Center Global Controls team is seeking a Controls Technician for Service & Construction of BMS and EPMS in our data centers. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain field sensors, controllers, wiring, networking and programming for industrial controls to support critical infrastructure.

You will work across multiple data centers, supervise low voltage electrical contractors, read schematics, perform tests, and participate in factory tests.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of integration, testing and automation experience.
• Associate’s degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field; or 6+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Basic understanding of industrial controls systems and field devices.
• Ability to work non-standard hours and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, service, and upgrade BMS and EPMS systems across data centers.
• Mentor Facilities team members on BMS/EPMS operation.
• Audit and manage asset management systems for BMS/EPMS.
• Manage small to medium projects and programs.
• Perform wiring checks and diagnostics for BMS/EPMS hardware.
