Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Data Center Controls Engineer to join the Data Center Capacity Delivery team. You will troubleshoot BMS/EPMS issues, assist with design, configuration, validation, installation, and operation of control systems, and support the data center lifecycle with cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires experience in critical environments and strong project/vendor management skills, with on-call responsibilities and engagement in procurement activities for AWS data centers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform Root Cause Analysis for BMS/EPMS issues in AWS data centers.
• Design, configure, validate, install, and operatively manage BMS/EPMS systems.
• Support data center operations through lifecycle and on-call periods.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and LOE for BMS/EPMS improvements.
• Participate in procurement activities and vendor communications.
• Review and iterate on control sequences of operation with design teams.
