Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled controls engineer to troubleshoot, manage projects, and maintain BMS/EPMS in AWS data centers. You will work with leading experts to design, configure, and optimize critical power and mechanical systems, while ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance across multiple facilities.

Your role includes on-site collaboration, vendor coordination, and continual process improvement to meet AWS standards and leadership principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical engineering or related field, or 5+ years in industrial controls.
• Experience with HVAC controls, SCADA software, and data center systems.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Train and assist internal customers on BMS/EPMS configuration and operation.
• Provide technical support during data center life cycle and maintenance.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, and LOE for BMS/EPMS initiatives.
• Manage scope, schedule, finance and execution of improvementprojects in AWS data centers.
• Support procurement activities and vendor communications.
• Participate in on-call schedule for in-service centers and report status.
• Review and iterate controls sequences of operation with design teams.
• Develop and modify control logic programming and GUIs.
• Visit data centers to troubleshoot and supervise vendor work for compliance.
