Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Culpeper, VA seeks a controls specialist to troubleshoot and manage BMS/EPMS within the AWS data center environment.

You will develop new processes and standards for controls space while coordinating with stakeholders to ensure reliability and efficiency. Responsibilities include project scoping, scheduling, procurement support, on-site commissioning, and lifecycle operations of BMS/EPMS across data centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent, plus 5+ years of controls experience, or 10+ years in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years of experience with industrial controls in critical environments (data centers, pharmaceutical, etc.).
• 4+ years of general contractor and vendor management experience (RFPs, bids, change orders, QC, RFIs).

Responsibilities

• Train and assist customers with BMS/EPMS setup and operation.
• Provide technical support during data center life cycle.
• Review maintenance items for BMS/EPMS and close actions.
• Develop project scope, schedule, budget, and LOE for BMS/EPMS projects.
• Manage BMS/EPMS projects including scope, schedule, and finance.
• Support procurement activities and vendor management.
