Job summary

Amazon is seeking a controls engineer to join the AWS Data Center Controls team in Ohio. You will troubleshoot, manage projects, and maintain BMS and EPMS across data centers, interfacing with generators, switchgear, chillers, and other critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities include design, configuration, commissioning of BMS/EPMS, life cycle support, project scope and LOE, procurement support, on-call coverage, and improving SOO and control logic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years in general contractor/vendor management and project execution.
• 5+ years of controls experience in industrial/critical environments.
• Experience with BMS/EPMS systems in data centers.

Responsibilities

• Train and assist customers on BMS/EPMS design, configuration, installation and operation.
• Provide technical support during data-center life cycle and during maintenance.
• Develop project scope, schedule, LOE and budget for BMS/EPMS projects.
• Manage project scope, schedule, finance and execution for improvements.
• Support procurement activities and vendor proposals.
• Participate in on-call schedule for BMS/EPMS support.
• Review and iterate SOO and feedback to design teams.
• Develop/modify control logic and graphical interfaces.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and report status to management.
• Manage BMS/EPMS service contracts.
