Job summary

Amazon seeks a skilled Controls Engineer to join the global data center controls team in Ohio. You will troubleshoot, manage projects, and maintain BMS/EPMS systems across in-service data centers, working with generators, switchgear, chillers, and HVAC controls.

Bachelor’s in Electrical/Mechanical engineering or related field.
4+ years of contractor and vendor management in construction and projects.
5+ years of controls experience in data centers or critical environments, or 10+ years without degree.

Responsibilities

Train and assist internal customers on BMS/EPMS design, configuration, and operation.
Provide technical support during life cycle and review quarterly maintenances.
Develop project scope, schedule, budget, and LOE for BMS/EPMS improvements.
Manage scope, schedule, finances and execution of BMS/EPMS projects.
Assist procurement: RFIs/RFPs, vendor proposals, PO issuance.
Participate in on-call rotation to provide BMS/EPMS support.
Support commissioning activities and review SOO with design team.
Develop/modify control logic and HMI interfaces.
Navigate multiple stakeholder requirements and manage deliverables.
Manage service contracts and visit data centers for compliance.
