Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Data Centers in Ohio seek a Controls Engineer to own BMS and EPMS systems, troubleshoot issues, manage projects, and support operations through the lifecycle of critical facilities.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop SOO improvements, and coordinate with vendors while ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance across local data centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or 5 years controls experience, OR 10 years controls experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years of experience with industrial controls in critical environments.
• 4+ years of general project or vendor management experience in construction and project execution.
• Knowledge of engineering documentation and electrical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot BMS and EPMS issues in AWS data centers.
• Train and assist internal customers with BMS and EPMS design, configuration, validation, installation and operation.
• Provide technical assistance and support to operations during life cycle of the data center.
• Review maintenance results for BMS and EPMS and resolve action items.
• Develop project scope, schedule, budget and LOE for customer requests.
