Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a CSA Construction Technical Services Specialist for our Corpus Christi, TX project, focusing on on-site technical support, drawing interpretation, and close coordination with home office and client representatives. You will help manage revisions, permitting interactions, and field changes to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 4–7 years Civil/Structural/Architectural engineering or 8–10 years in construction management of heavy-industrial facilities including life sciences and datacenters.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Resolve in-progress issues related to technical interpretation of drawings and specifications; clarify and expedite responses to meet project needs.
• Liaise with home office engineering, outside engineering firms, and client representatives.
• Provide on-site technical support interpreting engineering release documents, specs, and drawings; contribute to change management within technical scope.
• Engage in the Permitting process with AHJs and authorities.
• Work with Design-Build contractors as they move to the field.
• Ensure revision control for construction documents and timely information on design changes.
