Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a CSA Construction Technical Services Specialist to support world-class data center projects. You will interpret drawings, coordinate with home office engineering, and drive on-site technical guidance to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Based at our Corpus Christi, TX project site with a hybrid work model, you will mentor junior engineers, manage revision control, and collaborate with design-build teams across disciplines to resolve NCRs and support change management

Qualifications

4–7 years of experience in Civil, Structural, or Architectural engineering.
8–10 years in construction management of heavy-industrial facilities including life sciences and data centers.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

Resolve in-progress issues related to technical interpretation of drawings and specifications; clarify and expedite home office response.
Liaise with home office engineering, outside engineering firms, and client representatives.
Provide on-site technical support interpreting released documents, specs, and drawings, including input to change management.
Engage in the Permitting process with AHJs.
Collaborate with Design-Build contractors as they move to the field.
Ensure revision control is in place for all construction documents.
Manage timely information related to potential design changes and installations.
Lead in response to deviation requests within approved processes.
Coordinate with Field Quality, contractor, and home office engineering to resolve NCRs.
Mentor and guide junior team members.
