Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Experience interpreting home office engineering documents for construction purposes.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Effective oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Engage in resolving in-progress issues, discrepancies, or disputes related to drawings and specifications; clarifying and expediting responses.
• Liaise with home office engineering, outside engineering firms, and client representatives.
• Provide on-site technical support in interpretation of drawings, specifications, and documents; input to change management.
• Engage in permitting with AHJs and work with design-build contractors in the field.
• Ensure revision control for construction documents and timely information management.
• Mentor subordinate team members toward objectives.
