The role focuses on leading technical interpretations, document control, and coordination with home office engineering, contractors, and clients on complex data center builds. You will guide on-site teams, manage drawings and specifications, and drive the change management process while supporting field quality and NCR resolution.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Civil/Structural/Architectural engineering or 15–20 years in construction management for heavy-industrial facilities including datacenters.
• Understanding of construction means, methods, codes and standards.
• Ability to read and understand Civil/Structural/Architectural drawings.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance in resolving in-progress issues and disputes related to drawings and specifications; expedite home office responses as needed.
• Liaise with home office engineering, outside firms, and client representatives.
• Provide on-site technical support interpreting engineering documents and drawings; contribute to change management.
• Engage in the permitting process with AHJs and authorities.
• Work with Design-Build contractors as field efforts move to the site.
• Manage drawing and document control with subcontractors; ensure revision-controlled handling of key drawings.
• Lead construction document management and coordinate with the document control lead.
• Provide guidance during specification deviation responses within approved processes.
• Collaborate with Field Quality, contractor, and Home Office Engineering to resolve NCRs.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the team.
