• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to present information to management, owners, and outside entities.
• Basic math and computer skills; professional demeanor and appearance.
• People management skills and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assists Superintendent with duties or acts as Superintendent for jobs without one.
• Advocates safety as the top priority and enforces safety plans and policies.
• Coordinates with Estimating, Division Management, and Project Management to supervise construction projects.
• Develops and implements production plans with budget goals in mind.
• Prepares project status reports and compliance logs.
• Reviews plans against contract documents and coordinates shop drawings.
• Procures tools and materials to meet the schedule.
• Determines staffing levels and timing for each project phase.
• Recruits, hires, and directs onsite field personnel per HR processes.
• Prepares payroll documentation and HR/Payroll compliance.
• Resolves workforce complaints with supervisory and HR/legal assistance.
• Works with engineers, architects, subcontractors, inspectors, and suppliers to resolve construction issues.
• Ensures schedules are met by aligning staffing and procurement.
• Oversees subcontractors for compliance with terms.
• Coordinates regulatory inspections.
