Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a Construction Project Manager for our Spartanburg, SC data center delivery. This on‑site role requires leading complex, hyperscale projects from preconstruction through turnover, managing scope, schedule, budget, and safety.

You will coordinate with owners, design teams, contractors, and utilities, driving performance across multiple workstreams and ensuring client satisfaction while adhering to schedule and cost constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of construction project management experience involving large‑scale projects.
• Minimum of 4 years in a PM/APM role leading projects valued at $50M+.
• Proven experience managing all phases of construction project delivery.
• Strong scheduling, contract administration, and project controls skills.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification required.
• Ability to travel to support project demands.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of hyperscale data center construction from concept to completion.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk to meet objectives.
• Provide day‑to‑day construction oversight across all project phases.
• Coordinate activities among architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
• Facilitate meetings, document minutes, track actions, report status.
• Analyze performance and develop schedule, cost, safety, quality reports.
• Review contracts, drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Lead change management, including evaluation and approval of changes.
• Review invoices, payment applications, and cost forecasts.
• Monitor activities to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage project controls: scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, EV, reporting.
• Coordinate commissioning and turnover of mission‑critical systems.
• Support utility coordination for site infrastructure.
