Job summary

QTS Data Centers in York, SC, is seeking a Development Project Manager (Data Center Construction) to lead design, preconstruction and construction activities on multiple campus projects. You will interact daily with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, Commissioning Agents, Vendors, and Data Center Operations staff, using strong written and oral communication.

The role requires coordinating master development programs, budgets, schedules, entitlements, and procurement, while ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Five+ years in commercial construction, with Lump Sum, CM@Risk, and Design Build delivery methods.
• Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel for program updates and budgets.
• Ability to travel as needed for the business.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects on campuses and maintain updated budgets, schedules, and status reports.
• Create and communicate updates on development program and project status for executive reviews.
• Work with stakeholders to create a master development program for site design and budget.
• Manage entitlement and permitting needs for each site project.
• Implement multi-phased site development plans to meet time, budget, and quality targets.
• Write scopes of work for design/construction/commissioning and assist in procurement.
• Evaluate pricing proposals for design, construction, and commissioning services.
• Coordinate with procurement on equipment procurement and delivery.
