Job summary

QTS Data Centers in Cedar Rapids, IA seeks a Development Project Manager (Data Center Construction) to lead design, preconstruction and construction activities on assigned projects. You will coordinate with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, Commissioning Agents, Vendors and Operations staff to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in science or engineering (or equivalent) with 5+ years in commercial construction, strong budgeting and scheduling

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Five or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures.
• Be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel for updates and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects on a campus and maintain budgets, schedules, and status reports.
• Develop and present monthly program updates for executive review.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create a master development program and budget.
• Oversee entitlement and permitting needs for site projects.
• Maintain site master plans and coordinate procurement and cost estimates.
