QTS Realty Trust in Cedar Rapids is seeking a Development Project Manager (Data Center Construction) to lead design, preconstruction and construction activities for designated projects. You will collaborate daily with facilities, contractors, designers, engineers, commissioning agents, vendors and data center operations staff to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Science or Engineering, 5+ years in commercial construction, strong MS Office skills, and up to 50%

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Five or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint for updates and Excel for budgets.
• Be able to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects on site campuses with budgets, schedules, and status reports.
• Provide monthly program status updates for executive reviews.
• Collaborate to create master development programs and capital budgets.
• Manage entitlements and permitting for each site.
• Develop multi-phased site plans to meet time, budget, and quality targets.
• Update campus master plans with key metrics.
