Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Project Coordinator to support project management services for clients in our construction practice. You will assist the Project Manager in maintaining quality, governance, and timely delivery across project teams.

You will help manage information flow, build client relationships, and participate in monthly reporting and status meetings. A strong communication mindset and 3+ years in project controls or admin is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Project Coordination or administrative role within the construction industry is preferred.
• BA/BS in Business, Construction, Architecture, or related field; relevant work experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in project controls or administration.
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Problem-solving mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft and Google Suite; Excel expertise.
• Corporate Interiors and Tenant Improvement experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager to ensure the project meets quality standards and is completed on time.
• Help establish effective project governance, processes and systems to be used throughout the project.
• Ensure key information and data are shared and retained appropriately.
• Build and maintain strong client and team relationships.
• Interface with stakeholders including executive management, project team, consultants and vendors.
• Assist with the flow of project information between team members and stakeholders.
• Attend status meetings, update and maintain issues/actions logs.
• Develop detailed project plans and follow up with team members for status and close-out items.
• Contribute to monthly reports and executive dashboards for the Client’s program.
• Assist with preparing proposals for new projects or variations.
• SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role where applicable.
