Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in the United States to support project management services and work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality and timely delivery.

The role includes coordinating submittals and RFIs, developing project plans, maintaining governance, and producing reports for clients and leadership. On-site work with a commitment to collaboration, data integrity, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or field related to construction.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager to ensure quality standards and on-time delivery.
• Manage submittal and RFI processes.
• Assist with proposals for new or existing projects.
• Establish effective project governance, processes, and systems.
• Share and retain key information and data.
• Build relationships with client and team members.
• Interface with executives, project team members, consultants and vendors.
• Transcribe meeting minutes and drive actions to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans and attend status meetings.
• Contribute monthly reports and executive dashboards.
• Daily tasks: submittal approvals, RFI processing, change orders, meeting coordination, punch-list management, close-out documentation.
• Procurement: assist with supplier/resource procurement.
• Monitor project costs and EVM; liaise with client finance for cost data.
• SOX control responsibilities may apply.
