Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking a Development Project Manager (MEP/Cx Data Center Construction) to lead design, preconstruction and construction activities on complex data center projects. You will collaborate with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, and Operations staff to drive schedules, budgets and quality.

The role requires five+ years in commercial construction, proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel) and the ability to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Five or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint for updates and Excel for budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, preconstruction and construction activities on projects.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and status reports for each project.
• Prepare monthly updates for executive level reviews and present information for decisions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, design and construction teams to develop campus development plans.
• Manage entitlement and permitting needs and oversee procurement and cost estimates.
• Review change orders and negotiate pricing with contractors.
• Support procurement and product teams for equipment delivery within schedules and budgets.
• Represent QTS in meetings with key stakeholders and executives.
