Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Construction, ADC - Data Center Construction to lead a regional team delivering critical infrastructure for AWS data centers.

You will oversee construction managers and project engineers, drive safety, quality, and schedule performance, and partner with finance and BD to optimize capital plans. The role requires strong leadership, vendor management, and deep experience with electrical and mechanical systems in data center environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience.
• 4+ years of general contractor and vendor management work for construction and project execution.
• Experience hiring, developing, and managing high-performing technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, hire, and develop a team of Construction Managers and Project Engineers.
• Own regional construction program delivery, defining metrics and workflows for safety, cost, quality, and schedule performance across multiple data center projects.
• Partner with Finance, Business Development, and cross-functional teams to develop capital budgets and align construction priorities with capacity demand.
• Identify risks and opportunities across the construction lifecycle and make data-driven trade-offs.
• Establish process improvements to reduce cost and duration while maintaining quality and reliability of electrical and mechanical systems.
