Amazon is seeking a Data Center Construction Manager to lead on-site construction activities for world-class AWS data centers. You will drive cost, schedule, and quality while coordinating with Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning teams.

The role requires daily site presence, interactions with construction trades, and ownership of project scope, quality, schedule, and budget to ensure successful delivery for customers.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience carrying new design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production.
• Experience in MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.

Responsabilidades

• Direct interface with construction general contractors during bidding, award, execution, and closeout phases.
• Negotiate with general contractors and evaluate bids/proposals with detail and accuracy.
• Create construction project scope and requests for proposals.
• Perform financial analysis of construction.
• Manage construction projects for initiatives increasing data center resiliency.
• Conduct constructability reviews of electrical and mechanical designs for new or optimized data centers.
• Manage construction documents including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and invoicing.
• Ensure construction project quality control.
• Record and report key construction metrics to team and management.
• Drive teams to perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of equipment failures.
• Be a leader within the group and with internal/external teams.
