Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Construction to lead a diverse team of Construction Managers and Project Engineers for data center projects in the Eastern United States.

You will hire, mentor, and guide a high-performing team through rapid execution and complex build programs, ensuring safety, cost control, and quality. The role emphasizes leadership, process improvement, and collaboration with Finance, Business Development, and operations teams to deliver capacity in peak

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience.
• 4+ years of general contractor and vendor management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience hiring, developing, and managing high-performing technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Hire and develop Construction Managers and Project Engineers; coach, mentor, and lead a large Construction Management team.
• Strategic and tactical management of construction capacity delivery within the region.
• Coordinate with Finance during capital budgets development and execution.
• Coordinate with teams supporting data center development and launch.
• Develop and manage region-specific performance metrics.
• Coordinate with Business Development on land and facility acquisition.
• Manage safety, cost, and quality of data center deliverables.
