Job summary

QTS Realty Trust in the United States is seeking a Development Project Manager (Data Center Construction OFCI) to lead design, preconstruction and construction activities on campus projects. You will interact daily with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, and Operations staff to ensure delivery excellence.

You will manage budgets and schedules, prepare monthly executive updates, and work with stakeholders to develop master development programs and capital budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in commercial construction project delivery methods such as Lump Sum, CM@Risk and Design Build.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint for executive updates and Excel for budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple campus projects, budgets, schedules and status reports.
• Prepare monthly program updates for executive reviews and decisions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to develop master development programs and budgets.
• Lead entitlement and permitting, and manage phased site development plans.
• Review pay apps and change orders; monitor cost-to-date versus budget.
• Develop deployment plans and collaborate with sales engineering for deals.
