Job summary

Quality Technology Services, LLC (QTS) is seeking a Development Project Manager for Data Center Construction to lead design, preconstruction and construction activities on multiple campuses in West Texas. You will work closely with Facilities, Contractors, Designers and Operations to drive on‑time, on‑budget delivery of complex data center projects.

The role requires 5+ years in commercial construction (CM@R, Lump Sum or Design‑Build) and strong communication, budgeting and procurement skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in commercial construction with Lump Sum, CM@R, and Design Build delivery methods.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel for program updates and budgets.
• Willingness to travel as needed for the business.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects across campuses with updated budgets, schedules and status reports.
• Create monthly development program updates for executive reviews and decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a master development program and campus design solution.
• Handle entitlements and permitting for assigned sites.
• Develop multi‑phased site plans to meet time, budget and quality targets.
• Prepare scopes of work for design, construction and commissioning services; participate in procurement and cost estimates.
• Evaluate pricing proposals for design, construction and commissioning services.
• Coordinate equipment procurement and delivery with strategic procurement.
• Ensure submittals are coordinated with site stakeholders.
• Monitor and report project budget/cost-to-date.
• Establish schedules and lead teams to on‑time completion.
• Review monthly pay applications and change orders with contractors.
• Establish site security procedures with the security team.
• Plan product deployment and align with QTS staff.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineers and Product teams on client solutions.
