Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Georgia seeks a Data Center Construction Manager to lead construction projects for new data centers and major capital upgrades, owning scope, schedule and budget.

You will interface with general contractors, manage bids, perform financial analyses, coordinate with electrical and mechanical teams, and ensure compliance with Life Safety and NEC codes. Qualifications

• Experience in design or construction of data centers or critical infrastructure
• Experience in data center engineering operations and infra
• Experience managing large, complex projects with MEP components
• Ability to define system-level architecture and maintain project documentation

Responsibilities

• Direct interface with general contractors during bidding, award, execution and closeout
• Negotiate bids and evaluate proposals with detail and accuracy
• Create project scope and RFIs/proposals
• Perform financial analysis of construction
• Oversee data center construction initiatives to increase resiliency
• Review constructability of electrical and mechanical designs
• Manage construction docs including submittals, RFI’s, changes and invoicing
• Ensure construction quality control and report metrics
