Job summary

Amentum is seeking an entry-level Construction Management hire for its Virginia data center expansion project. You will assist in estimating, cost control, forecasting, risk assessment and earned value management within an onsite team environment.

Graduate in 2023+ from a 2–4 year program in construction management, electrical, mechanical or related technical field. Local candidates only; travel as needed; standard Word/Excel proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Construction management, electrical, mechanical or technical certification required (graduated in 2023 or after) in a 2- to 4-year program.
• Must be available to work onsite (No VA – Dulles airport area) and arrive by 6:00am EST.
• Computer literate and proficient with Word and Excel required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Local candidates only (no relocation assistance available).
• Must be able to maintain efficiency and productivity in a fast-paced work environment and effectively communicate with other project members as required.
• Must be eligible to work for any US Employer without current or future visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist in estimating, cost control, forecasting, trend analysis and change order control.
• Engage in risk assessment and management, forensic schedule analysis, earned value management and progress reporting.
• Support subcontractor management, schedule development and progress reporting.
• Assist in vendor management, field engineering, site safety and overall product quality.
• Contribute to construction of the data center expansion in Virginia project office.
