Job summary

Amentum is hiring an entry-level Mission Critical Construction Manager (MEP) in Virginia to support data center expansion projects. You will assist in estimating, forecasting, earned value management, cost control and scheduling while coordinating with field teams and subcontractors.

The role targets graduates from 2023 or later with CM/engineering certifications, expects 6:00am starts, 6:00–4:00pm hours, and travel as needed; located in Sterling, VA area.

Qualifications

• Local candidates only; no relocation assistance.
• Certification in construction management, electrical, mechanical or related field completed in 2023 or later.
• Available to work onsite in VA and start by 6:00am EST with 6:00–4:00pm EST schedule.
• Able to travel as needed and able to work without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist in estimating, cost control, forecasting, trend analysis and earned value management.
• Support risk assessment, schedule development and progress reporting.
• Coordinate subcontractor and vendor management and field engineering activities.
• Maintain product quality and ensure safety on construction sites.
