Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Entry Level Construction Manager (MEP) for a data center project. You will assist in estimating, cost control, forecasting, scheduling, risk assessment, and vendor management while gaining hands-on experience in field engineering and safety practices.

Ideal candidates recently graduated (2023 or later) from a 2-4 year program in construction management, electrical, mechanical, or related technical fields, with on-site availability and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Construction management, electrical, mechanical, or technical certification required (graduated in 2023 or after) in a 2- to 4-year program.
• Must be available to work onsite (No VA – Dulles airport area) and arrive by 6:00am EST.
• Computer literate and proficient with Word and Excel required
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to travel as needed
• Local candidates only (no relocation assistance available)
• Must be able maintain efficiency and productivity in a fast-paced work environment and effectively communicate with other project members as required
• Must be eligible to work for any US Employer without current or future visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Assist in estimating, cost control, forecasting, and trend analysis.
• Handle change order control, risk assessment and management.
• Perform forensic schedule analysis and earned value management.
• Support progress measurement/reporting and productivity analysis.
• Coordinate subcontractor management and vendor relations.
• Contribute to field engineering and site safety for data center construction.
