Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is hiring a Data Center Construction Manager to lead construction projects for Amazon’s data centers in the United States.

You will work daily on-site with electrical and mechanical teams, overseeing contractors and vendors to ensure safety, cost control, and on-time delivery. The role requires collaboration with Operations, Networking, Security, and Commissioning teams and a commitment to building industry-leading, energy-efficient data centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Experience taking design concepts through deployment or production.
• Experience with MS Excel, Word, and Windows OS.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Own construction project management for new builds or capital projects, including scope, quality, schedule and budget.
• Interface with general contractors during bidding, award, execution and closeout phases.
• Conduct negotiations, evaluate bids, and prepare RFPs and scope documents.
• Manage construction documents, RFIs, change orders and invoicing.
• Drive cost, schedule and quality improvements on data center projects.
