Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Construction Manager to lead the construction of data centers, owning scope, schedule, and budget. The role collaborates with Operations, Networking, and Controls to deliver energy‑efficient facilities at scale.

The candidate will manage construction on multiple sites, interface with general contractors, and drive cost, schedule, and quality while advancing data center resiliency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• Experience turning new design concepts into deployment or mass production.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Windows OS.
• Experience with power management and monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Be the construction representative on data center projects from start through hand-off to operations.
• Direct interface with general contractors during bidding, award, execution, and closeout phases.
• Create project scope and RFPs; negotiate bids with contractors and evaluate proposals.
• Manage cost, schedule, and quality while overseeing contractors and vendors.
• Perform project management tasks: documents, submittals, RFIs, change orders, invoices, quality, scope, and schedule.
