Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Construction Manager to lead construction on new data centers in the Granbury, TX area. You will own scope, quality, schedule, and budget while coordinating with Operations, Networking, and Security teams on site daily.

Responsibilities include interfacing with general contractors, bidding, negotiations, cost control, and ensuring safety and quality standards. This role requires on-site presence and strong leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with large-scale construction management of MEP systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interface with construction general contractors during bidding, award, execution, and closeout phases.
• Negotiate with contractors and evaluate bids with detail.
• Define construction project scope and RFPs.
• Perform financial analysis of construction projects.
• Manage projects to increase data center resiliency.
• Review constructability of electrical and mechanical designs.
• Manage project documents including submittals, RFIs, change orders and invoicing.
• Ensure project quality control.
• Report key construction metrics to stakeholders.
• Lead teams and coordinate with internal and external groups.
