Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking a Data Center Construction Manager to lead on-site projects, acting as owner’s representative and driving cost, schedule, and quality. You will manage vendors and contractors, ensure safety and security, and deliver scalable data-center capacity.

Responsibilities include coordinating with GC during bidding and closeout, performing financial analyses, and reviewing designs for constructability and reliability in mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Experience defining data center system-level architecture and documenting performance requirements.
• Experience managing large, complex data center projects with contractors and vendors.
• Experience designing or constructing data centers or critical infrastructure with MEP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction projects as owner’s representative with cost, schedule, and quality responsibility.
• Interface with general contractors during bidding, award, execution and closeout.
• Conduct bid analyses, prepare scope and RFPs, and manage change orders.
• Perform financial analyses and drive data-center resiliency improvements.
• Ensure safety, security, and QA, coordinating with internal and external teams.
