Qualifications

• Experience in community affairs, public affairs, economic development, government relations, or a closely related field.
• Direct experience engaging with county/municipal governments and diverse community stakeholders on infrastructure projects.
• Ability to translate complex policy/operational plans into plain language for local officials and reporters.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with county commissioners, mayors, councils, and state agencies.
• Engage with Tribal governments and Native communities, respecting sovereignty and consultation processes.
• Develop and execute a community engagement strategy across markets (site selection, pre-development, construction, operations).
• Represent Anthropic in public forums, town halls, hearings, events, and local media.
• Monitor community sentiment and advise internal teams on risks and engagement pace.
