Qualifications

• 4-7 years in Civil/Structural/Architectural engineering or 8-10 years in construction management of heavy-industrial facilities including datacenters
• Understanding of construction means, methods, codes, and standards
• Experience interpreting home office engineering documents for construction purposes
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience including certified technical training
• Effective oral and written communication
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings

Responsibilities

• Resolve in-progress issues related to drawings and specs; expedite home office response
• Liaise with home office engineering, outside firms, and client representatives
• Provide on-site technical support interpreting released documents and drawings; input to change management
• Engage in the permitting process with AHJs
• Collaborate with Design-Build contractors as they move to field
• Ensure revision control for construction documents and timely information
• Coordinate field sketch/redline process for design changes
• Work with Project Controls and Construction on Field Design Revision process
• Lead in response to specification deviations within approved processes
• Resolve Nonconformities with Field Quality, contractor, and Home Office Engineering
• Mentor junior team members
