Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial, warehouse, and/or industrial site-civil design experience.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region.
• Professional Engineering license or plan for acquiring within 12 months of start date.
• Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bluebeam Revu.

Responsibilities

• Manage external civil design consultants through the data center design/construction process.
• Review site layout, grading, power substations, storm water, and utilities designs.
• Coordinate with internal and external architectural, structural, and MEP engineers.
• Develop preliminary site layouts using Civil 3D, including grading, utilities, and circulation patterns.
• Communicate design standards to internal/external project partners.
• Create and maintain project documentation before, during and after construction.
• Develop and maintain design standards, prototypes, and template specs for site design.
• Create, review and release design RFPs for DCs and related facilities.
• Manage multiple fast-paced projects and align TPM expectations on cost and schedule.
• Lead initiatives to improve cost, quality, and schedule.
• Travel for site assessments and construction reviews.
